Lord Nelson Says

The Dinner Meeting at Firestone Walker was a lot of fun and John Chu should be congratulated for doing such a great job.

I may sound like a broken record, but we need to get on the ball and start inviting more people to our meetings. We have to make the first step before we get new members.

Don't forget to mark your calendars for December 15th. This is our Club's Christmas Party and everybody should attend.

California Rotary License Plate

The Rotary special interest license plate is an official license plate issued by California's Department of Motor Vehicles. Proceeds from the sale of these Rotary License Plates (RLP) will benefit educational and community outreach activities supported by Rotary International in California. The license plate contains the words ''Service Above Self'' and the emblem of Rotary International.

You don't even have to be a Rotarian to have a Rotary License Plate. Your son or daughter, your uncle, your mom or dad, or even all of your friends are encouraged to purchase the Rotary License Plate. Everyone who purchases an RLP is contributing directly to their Rotary District's and Club's community service effort. Every time a RLP is traveling our roads, awareness of Rotary International and ''Service Above Self'' rises. If you have any questions, you may go to www.ca-rotarylicenseplates.org or rlicenseplates@aol.com
