CHILDREN'S CHRISTMAS PARTY

Every one is invited to bring your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc… to our Children's Party Wednesday Dec. 18 at our regular meeting time and place. If you bring a child with you be sure to bring a gift for them (the child), so Santa will have a gift to give them when they visit with him.

PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

How time flies, we're already between Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. How can that be? I hope everyone enjoyed their "Turkey Day". We've got sixty something so far for the Christmas Party December 11th. Please sign up by our next meeting on December 4th. The more the merrier. It will be a great dinner event at the Alisal.

A big Thank You to Rudy Van Enoo and Tohnia Fields for sharing their lives and experiences with us. They both did an excellent job. I am always amazed at the backgrounds of our membership.

I have had a personally difficult work schedule lately and once again need to thank Dick Brown for stepping in for the November 20th meeting. I have vowed to Dick that I will be on call to stand in for him during his year. Promises, Promises. We don't have a lot of meetings left in 2002. Remember we are dark the 25th and January 1, 2003.

Let's go out and "Sow the Seeds of Love" and "It can be done".

PRESIDENT ELECT FOR 2003-2004

Nelson Owens has been elected as President Elect and will serve as Chief Officer for the year 2004-05. Nelson will be in office when Rotary International celebrates its centennial in February 2005.

Nelson joined Rotary in 1980 and is proud to say he has had perfect attendance for 20 years. He is an active member in our Rotary club and is always there to help. He has been an Elf on Santa's sled for the last 18 years and has headed up the Nelson Owens Golf Tournament for the last 8 years. Nelson is a big supporter of all community events and you'll find him around Christmas time helping Don Oaks with the Salvation Army.
