PRESIDENT MESSAGE

My first month has been quick and fun.  I would like to thank all who have assisted me:  Dick Brown,  David Wyatt, Deepa Willingham, John Rasmussen, Richard Shawcroft, your awesome.
I encourage all to attend the upcoming 5th Wednesday at the Barnard’s for a Good Olde Summertime Party.
The District Conference is coming up in October to be held at Universal Studios, mark your calendars.
What a great idea “Rotarian of the Day” I’ll be playing this up in future meetings.  The chosen one will lead us in the flag salute, draw the winning raffle ticket and generally be admired.  Thanks, Richard Shawcroft, for the idea and for being the first.
That’s it, someone is at my door, on the phone, I’m late for a meeting.

WE'RE ALL INVITED

The Solvang Breakfast Rotary presents the First Event Ever at the New Wine Facility for Sanford Winery located at 7250 Santa Rosa Rd. in Buellton.  It will be held Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 6:00pm.  The cost is $35.00 a person.  This will include dinner catered by Zaca Creek and entertainment by a country swing band.
